Wiki Version:
This project contains all information pertaining to the replication of experiments from “IDH mutation impairs histone demethylation and results in a block to cell differentiation” published in *Nature* in 2012 ([Lu et al., 2012][1]). Experimental work began although not all experiments were completed. The completed experiments were included in the summary paper "Experiments from unfinished Registered Reports in the Reproducibility Project: Cancer Biology" ([Errington et al., 2021][2]).
Also, explore the Registered Report and materials related to the Registered Report [here][3].
**Data and Material Availability**: All other associated data, protocols, analysis scripts, and other digital materials are available within this OSF project. **Experiments replicated**: Reproduce and explore the figures, analyses, data, and methods generated in this replication attempt. - [Assessing the methylation status and 2HG production of 293T cells transfected with mutant forms of IDH1 and IDH2][4] - Replication of Figures 1 and Supplemental Figure 1 of Lu et al., 2012 - [Preliminary results of other experiments described in the Registered Report][5] - Attempt of replication of 2A, 2B, 2D, 4D, and Supplementary Figure 8 of Lu et al., 2012
Questions about the project can be directed to contact+rpcb@cos.io.
