Description: The purpose of the project is to make functionalized graphene using electrochemical exfoliation of graphite. The graphene is functionalized with diazonium salts in a one-pot process. The functionalized graphene is to be polymerized and tested.


The purpose of this project is to make polymer brushes on graphene that can be used in designing new composites. The polymer brushes are grown from functionalized graphene made by a diazonium salt and graphite.
