Description: Participants will include undergraduate students recruited from universities located the United States and in Portugal. This study will aim for a sample of approximately 750 youth. Participants will be recruited via email to college students in the Northeast region of the United States and using a snowball sampling procedure in Portugal. They will be asked to complete a series of online questionnaires assessing the subjective (e.g., How often do you worry that you or a family member will get COVID-19?) and objective (e.g., Has someone you live with had COVID-19?) impact of the pandemic; they will also complete a measure of psychological flexibility. Data will be analyzed to characterize and compare the subjective and objective impact of the pandemic across north American and Portuguese participants. Also, the association between psychological flexibility and the subjective impact of the pandemic will be investigated using the combined sample.
