Wiki Version:
We plan to conduct a multilevel modeling approach in order to take into account individual level sources of random variability.Specifically, we plan to test the main effect of odor exposure (disgusting vs pleasant vs neutral), of type of IAT (standard vs. BIS related) and the moderating roles of the disgust sensitivity do body odors. Measures of social and economic conservatism will be entered to test their possible mediation role.To model effect of implicit attitudes we will model the block (congruent vs incongruent). We will use an inference based on the computation of the Bayes Factor to gather evidence for both the experimental and the null hypotheses.
