Description: Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants (OVSJG) is seeking to evaluate and improve the “Show Up, Stand Out” (SUSO) program outreach efforts to families with students that have reached five or more unexcused absences. Working closely with OVSJG staff, the Lab will help them test whether using automated physical mail, automated phone messages, automated text messages, and automated emails can increase family engagement in SUSO. The Lab will also train OVSJG staff in running similar experiments for continued refinement and testing, as well as application to other OVSJG programs.
