Description: To guide researchers who want to deploy a more equitable and just recruitment strategy in the absence of CBPR, we describe the effectiveness of strategies that were used in recruiting, enrolling, and retaining a socio-demographically diverse sample for a behavioral randomized controlled trial (RCT). We also provide costs of different recruitment strategies for different populations.
