Description: Because of the significant rise in the use of educational videos in education, we explore in this study what the contributors to the anthology Lehren und Lernen mit Erklärvideos. Chancen, Herausforderungen, Grenzen [Teaching and Learning with Educational Videos. Opportunities, Challenges, Limitations] consider to be their quality criteria. For that we will synthesize the quality criteria that are referred to by the authors in form of a matrix which allows us to create an interdisciplinary overview. The developed matrix shall stimulate further research on the quality of educational videos and can be used to adequately analyze, select, produce and use videos in educational contexts.
