Participants were asked to stand exactly 1.5-m away from a researcher, and interpersonal distances they left were measured. These distances are shown in the 'Produced_distance' column. Each participant's self-reported gender (M: male; F: female; X: non-binary) and approximate age (10's, 20's, etc.) were also recorded. The 'Environment' column indicates whether each participant did the task in an indoor or outdoor setting.
