Wiki Version:
To access the macro and documentation, click on the latest version under *Components* on the right, then in that component select the *Files* option in the toolbar across the top of the site. This macro has been designed to support a low-tech, low learning curve coding process when doing thematic analysis. Codes that have been entered into a data item (e.g., a transcript) using the comment function in Microsoft Word are quickly transferred to an excel spreadsheet alongside associated data. This macros works best when using forms of thematic analysis that emphasise flexibility and personal preference when coding, and limits external theoretical and practical assumptions imposed upon the process.
