This project includes stimuli for the following paper: Bar-Anan, Y., Liberman N., & Trope, Y. (2006). The association between psychological distance and construal level: Evidence from an implicit association test. *Journal of Experimental Psychology: General*, 135, 609-622. The words.zip compressed folder includes txt files that were probably used as stimuli in the Hebrew IATs. See also the appendix in our paper. cl1.zip includes study files that were used in a web study that replicated two of those IATs in English. Four xml files in that zipped folder specify the words that were used: iatabs1.xml, iatabs2.xml, iatcat1.xml, iatcat2.xml. cl1.results.doc is a summary I wrote for myself of the results of that web study.
