First, we have released an updated version of the PFAS-Tox Database, which now includes studies published through January 25, 2021 and includes 1068 studies. That’s 505 human, 385 animal, and 220 in vitro health and toxicology studies on 29 PFAS (other than PFOA and PFOS)! Second, moving forward, the database will have a new permanent home at Northeastern University, under the continued leadership of Dr. Julia Varshavsky, Assistant Professor of Environmental Health in the Departments of Health Sciences and Civil and Environmental Engineering. This means that Northeastern University’s PFAS Project Lab, a project of the Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute (SSEHRI), will be hosting the database from here on out. For questions on the transition or about the database in general, please feel free to reach out to either Julia Varshavsky at j.varshavsky@northeastern.edu or Katie Pelch at katiepelch11@gmail.com.
