This is a PhD-project derived from "[Expert reports as basis for decisions in Norwegian child Welfare Services"][1] [1]: https://app.cristin.no/projects/show.jsf?id=2188414 PhD student is Rakel Aasheim Greve. Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. PhD-project comprises 3 tentative papers, including: 1. A scoping review: Independent experts in care order cases 2. A paper exploring the application of independent experts in the Norwegian child welfare services. 3. A paper comparing Norwegian and Swedish child welfare in regards to the use of independent experts in preparations to, and for care order cases: "How do context and culture affect the social work practices with expert reports in high-risk families in CWS? A cross-country comparison between Sweden and Norway" Timeframe for the PhD-project is August 2020 - July 2024.
