Wiki Version:
**Internal replication** is a process in which multiple independent analysts replicate data cleaning and analysis and correct errors prior to publication. When coupled with a pre-specified analysis plan, internal replication can minimize not only errors but also bias that may occur during the data analysis process. This page provides links to an example of internal replication of the [**WASH Benefits** **trials**][1], which could serve as a template for internal replication of other studies. Here is a video presentation on this topic from the 2017 [**Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences**][2] Annual Meeting: @[youtube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoYkY9MkbRE) [1]: http://www.washbenefits.net/ [2]: https://www.bitss.org/
