Description: The Institute for the Advancement of Food and Nutrition Sciences (IAFNS) seeks to explore consumer perceptions of the cognitive benefits of nutrition including terminology that would map to validated cognitive performance tools or tests. The goal of the research is to examine language used among consumers to explain the cognitive outcomes they perceive, which might then be mapped to cognitive performance tests identified in scientific literature to substantiate the cognitive benefits of foods, food components, diets, and supplements.
