This project organizes materials for undergraduate psychology student replication and extension projects. The goal is to have a menu of studies for replication/extension that would be highly suitable and interesting for early apprenticeship in psychological science. Studies should be: - Interesting and socially relevant - Lend themselves to genuinely interesting research questions/extensions - Relatively simple in design and anlaysis For in-person studies, they should still be logistically simple and preferably possible to run in batches to enable student researchers to obtain large samples within a single semester. Each study has a wiki page and a directory of resources. It's all a bit rough for the moment. The goal is for each study to have: - A short description of the key study/studies and/or key references on the conversation since the key study - A short guide to each study -- if there are key conditions/variables that could be dropped, special considerations for recruiting, etc. - A guide to original materials, specifying how materials were obtained and any modifications - A Qualtrics export that contains an excellent starting point, with clearly labelled items, simple coding of conditions, annotations on sourcing/changes, etc. - A prepped jamovi template that can be used to analyze the data, would calculate possible exclusions, scale averages, etc. to make it relatively easy for students to move forward with analysis.
