SAMPLE SIZE & SAMPLE DEMOGRAPHICS<br> We will recruit participants from students of Business Administration programs at two Czech universities. The students will be offered extra course credit for their participation. Our sample size will be determined by the number of students willing to participate in the study. The courses, in which the participation will be offered, have enrollment between 60 and 90 students. We therefore expect at least 50 participants from each university. Their participation will be completely voluntary. MATERIALS - OVERVIEW<br> As a main dependent variable of interest we will use an altered version of the satisfaction with life scale (SWLS; Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985). The altered version contains three questions instead of five in the original version and is focused on current satisfaction instead of long-term life satisfaction. The scale is included in the Materials section.<br> Apart from SWLS, we will use the positive and negative affect schedule (PANAS; Thompson, 2007). This measure will be used only for exploratory analyses and has only supportive role for the SWLS. This measure is also included the Materials section.<br> All materials will be presented on-line, by means of a web page specifically designed for the study. DESIGN<br> All students will be randomly assigned to one of ten groups at the time of their registration. Groups will differ only in the number of good things that students will have to report each day (from 1 to 10). The number of things to report will stay constant throughout the two weeks of the exercise. All other aspects of the study will be same for everyone.
