Wiki Version:
## Start Here The California Cognitive Assessment Battery (CCAB; pronounced "see-cab") is a comprehensive set of 32 computerized cognitive tests, accompanied by extensive demographic information (e.g., language background, race, comorbidities, socioeconomic status, COVID history, vocabulary, GDS, CFQ, GAD-7, FS-20) from a diverse population of 1800+ participants, many tested longitudinally at intervals up to three years. Spoken responses from 18 verbal tests were transcribed using consensus automatic speech recognition (ASR). More than 5,000 individual measures were obtained from each participant, including core test scores, processing speed metrics, and speech and language biomarkers. This exhaustive normative dataset offers the potential to address key questions in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, linguistics, aging, telehealth, and AI-driven cognitive assessment. However, as a small team, we are unable to fully explore the many scientific opportunities contained within the data and encourage collaborators to independently analyze and publish findings based on CCAB results. CCAB normative data is shared under a [CC-BY-NC-SA][1] license and cannot be used for commercial purposes. Please contact [osf_support@neurobs.com][8] for questions. ## What Now? ## * For more information on CCAB, see our [main website][2] or our [introductory publication][3] * For more information on the design and structure of specific tests in CCAB, see the [Tests][4] page. * To access normative data, see the [Data][5] page * For general information about CCAB and CCAB tests for data analysis, visit [the data wiki][6]. * If you have a question, take a look at the [FAQ][7] page. If your question isn't answered there, send us an [email][8]. ## Suggested Research Topics ## * CCAB data includes COVID infection history and severity scores for all participants * Because of the original 3-day enrollment test period, and ongoing longitudinal testing, the CCAB normative data offer significant measures of retest learning effects in both the short and long term.
