**Purpose**: This research study examined the effects of Saturday home football games on library gate counts at the two principal libraries at East Carolina University. The data was collected for the years 2013-2018. *Hypothesis* - H0: Saturday home football games have no effect on the physical use of libraries. - H1: Saturday home football games result in reduced physical use of the libraries.
