These tools were created to assist with standardized evaluation of NIH Data Management and Sharing Plans (DMSPs). They are based on the NSF scoring rubric developed under the IMLS National Leadership Grant LG-07-13-0328, “Analysis of data management plans as a means to inform and empower academic librarians in providing research data support” by Amanda L. Whitmire et al. Please see https://osf.io/qh6ad/?view_only= for their original documents. You will find PDF and Word files for verion 1 of the NIH DMSP rubric and score sheet. These are a work in progress and were created for the evaluation of Intramural Research Program DMSPs but should be applicable to any NIH-funded project. THESE ARE NOT OFFICIAL NIH DOCUMENTS AND ARE SOLELY INTENDED TO HELP INVESTIGATORS OR REVIEWERS ASSESS THE QUALITY OF THESE PLANS.
