This project consisted of several experiments conducted using the newly created software and experimental design "Zurich Trading Simulator".
Zurich Trading Simulator is an online trading simulator that dynamically displays price historical or arificial price patterns uploaded to the software in CSV files. The software enables to buy and sell one risky asset, using six quick-trade butttons (three for selling and three for buying). Participant can monitor the perfromance of their portfolio. The software can display news. ZTS is a freeware available on oTree. It can be used with its default options or freely adapted by researchers that are capable of programming in python/oTree.
In this project repository, we provide experimental materials, data, code and description of the software. The description is thematically split into pages, where each page corresponds to one paper.
Please, keep in mind that the Zurich Trading Simulator is an ongoing research project. Therefore, we continuously update this repository.
