Description: The Scottish Wildcat Action (SWA) partnership project was a key element to deliver the 2013 Scottish Wildcat Conservation Action Plan (SWCAP), funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund, the Scottish Government and others. NatureScot were the lead partner. The data held within this repository was collected during the course of the project. It includes: - Data gathered on samples collected from cats (dead and alive) during the project including genetic results, disease, morphology and associated metadata. These are the main data used for many of the reports published under the SWA project. - Data on individual cats including where and when they were seen and what they looked like. These are the data that form the basis of much of the monitoring reporting under SWA, such as the population assessments.
