Introduction: Hearing loss (HL) can cause several impairments in children and young people's development that can impact their adult life. These losses added to the transitional periods, which are moments characterized by significant life changes, can result in challenging and difficult times, especially for individuals who are not well-advised. The "Growing Up with Hearing Loss," an interactive platform aimed at children, adolescents, young adults with HL and their guardians, comprises counseling materials and activities that aim to strengthen the user's decision-making power. Objective: To translate and adapt to the Brazilian Portuguese language the "Growing Up with Hearing Loss" tool available on the Ida Institute website. Methods: After approval, through the academic cooperation agreement between Ida Institute and FOB-USP, all of the tool's materials were translated and adapted from English into Brazilian Portuguese. In all, the translation process had two stages: translation and adaptation (1) and proofreading (2). Performed by a bilingual translator, the first stage (1) followed a process that aims at the translation itself and the digital content's linguistic and cultural adaptation. The content was culturally sensitive and presented in a language that the target audience could understand. Subsequently, the second stage (2) was performed by a professional specialized in the Portuguese language and an audiologist who reviewed the translated materials, ensuring a final version of the translation with a more accessible and attractive language to the target audience. Results: The tool "Growing Up with Hearing Loss" was translated and culturally adapted to Brazilian Portuguese, and after its validation, it will be available on the institute's page (https://idainstitute.com/tools/tools_in_translation/portuguese/).
