Wiki Version:
This is the page for the analysis in the JEMS paper. The supplement is the PDF version of the supplement available at the publisher's website. Ruedin, Didier. 2018. ‘Attitudes to Immigrants in South Africa: Personality and Vulnerability’. *Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies* Online First. https://doi.org/10.1080/1369183X.2018.1428086. The files provided are: * supplement.pdf -- the supplement to the article as PDF; I created a Word document for JEMS (hosted at the journal's website) * supplement.Rmd -- source file of the supplement; this document includes all the analysis (some of the code blocks are deactivated because I manually drew the tables in markdown for a prettier supplement) * cleaning and recoding-sasas.R -- all the data cleaning and recoding undertaken in the SASAS data before analysis * amelia-sasas.R -- code used for creating the multiple imputations in Amelia * amelia-and-cleaning-WVS.R -- all the data cleaning and recoding undertaken in the WVS data before analysis, including code used for creating the multiple imputations * Slides for the GCRO symposium 2018.pdf -- slides of a presentation I have at a symposium on social cohesion and violence prevention The linked project is a *summary* of the research written up for a workshop at the ACMS/University of the Witwatersrand, and draws on the same analyses as the JEMS paper.
