Description: Early during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the COVIDiSTRESS Global Survey Consortium designed a survey study on stress, trust in government, and compliance (Lieberoth et al., 2021; Yamada et al., 2021a; 2021b; 2021c). A year after the initial study, we are now expanding this line of research to accommodate new developments in policies, emerging information and misinformation regarding COVID-19, and responses to the newly released vaccines. Specifically, we will be investigating country-level differences in social norms, compliance behaviours, vaccine hesitancy, vaccine willingness, individuals’ stress, trust in government, and trust in scientists. We will also explore the relationships between these variables, as indicated in more detail in our hypotheses.
