Hi! On this project you will find the data and syntax for the project entitled "A Counterfeit Competence." A couple things should be noted. First, all the data and syntax files are in SPSS. (Though this may inspire groans from R and Stata users, sorry...) Second, we are happy for the data to be used for registered replications, or to run meta-analyses involving similar projects, helping to establish effect sizes and confirm the reliability of the existing findings (including our own). However, please don't use the data for "original" work. The paper is under-review (or about to be when the data is uploaded), but we will upload the manuscript if or when the paper is published. Note: Nov 25 2018 To do our best to respond to a R&R we have added new studies as well as controls for existing studies. The order of studies has also changed.
