Wiki Version:
# False belief In the False Belief task, performance (or neural activity) is compared across two conditions, "belief" and "photo". In the Belief condition, participants must correctly infer the mental state of a person - a state that may not match external reality - in order to answer a true/false question. In the Photo (control) condition, participants must infer the state of a picture or photo that may not match external reality. ## Example trial Expecting the game to be postponed because of the rain, the Garcia family took the subway home. The score was tied, 3-3. During their commute the rain stopped and the game soon ended with a score of 5-3. The Garcia family arrives home believing the score is 5-3. TRUE or FALSE?
