Description: This paper addresses a brief history of Whooping Cough vaccines, and brings up a number of concerns regarding the limited understanding of how well these vaccines prevent transmission and colonization. After addressing these concerns, a number of research ideas are provided, in the hopes that they will be turned into full research proposals and eventual research in order to better understand the efficacy and perception of Whooping Cough vaccines.
