Wiki Version:
**Preprint available at: https://osf.io/preprints/psyarxiv/gfaeq** The CATI was originally published in [*Molecular Autism*][1] in 2021. The psychometric evaluation at the time showed promising results in a predominantly non-autistic sample. The present study continues this work by evaluating the CATI using a much larger sample of autistic adults. Statistical comparisons are made on the basis of self-reported autism 'status' (i.e., non-autistic, diagnosed autistic, self-identifying autistic), gender (i.e., cis male, cis female, and gender diverse) and age. The present study also takes the opportunity to slightly revise the phrasing of several sensory items for clarity, and several subscale (factor) labels following further consultation with autistic adults. Further information on the CATI can be found at [www.cati-autism.com][2], including links to freely download the CATI, a version that can be completed and scored within a web browser, FAQs, and several translations.
