Wiki Version:
Each individual Cariaco metagenome-assembled genome (MAG) is named based on the environment it was sampled from (the Cariaco Basin, Venezuela), and the anoxic water column metagenomic co-assembly that it was recovered from. The metagenomic co-assembly was created using metagenomes sampled from 314 and 900 meter pelagic depths. The MAGs are encoded as follows: `CarAnox_#` All biosynthetic gene clusters recovered from the MAGs using antiSMASH 6.0 are located in the Biosynthetic_gene_clusters folder. Some files that were too large to host on GitHub (repository link: https://github.com/d-mcgrath/cariaco_basin) that were used in this project's analysis are available in the Large_GitHub_files folder.
