Formed by David Archibald (Film and TV) and other academics and musicians, they are currently recording a series of songs which recount an experimental history of Glasgow. The Tenementals have received significant critical acclaim and press coverage. They picked up the ‘Outstanding Event’ award at the 2022 Glasgow Open Doors Festival, and they have played subsequent, sold out, gigs at notable venues across the city, including The Revelator Wall of Death.
