Wiki Version:
**Prolific Pilot: June 17th, 2021** - Total *N* = 21 - Exclusions: 4 who didn't get at least one correct on their list, 3 who didn't report understanding at least 75% of words - Final *N* = 15 @[osf](3k7nh) **Performance on FR test after CR study very near floor *even when participants were explicitly told to prepare for either type of test*--reconsider instructions and/or design?** - *n* = 3/15 got the instructions "pop quiz" wrong (i.e., they didn't answer that they'd study CR and have a 50/50 shot of CR vs. FR test). So maybe the instructions could be made a bit clearer? - Of items recalled on FR test after CR study, an average of 31% were cues instead of targets. Hard to say if this is due to a) misunderstanding of instructions or b) simple difficulty in discriminating cues/targets at test.
