This component includes all the materials for Experiments 1 and 2 in two subfolders. There is also a README_MostMethods file, which contains information about the files. Experiment 1: includes 5 files - README_MostMethodsExp1.pdf: including a description of the Experiment 1 files and how they were administered. - MostTask_IN-PERSON_Cont_Final.pdf: Stimuli for the continuous block of trials, when printed on paper and adminsitered in person. - MostTask_IN-PERSON_Num_Final.pdf: Stimuli for the discrete block of trials, when printed on paper and adminsitered in person. - Most_OnlineVersion_ContFirst.pptx: Powerpoint used for online administration, for kids who saw the Continuous then Discrete block - Most_OnlineVersion_NumFirst.pptx: Powerpoint used for online administration, for kids who saw the Discrete then Continuous block Experiment 2: includes 7 files and 2 folders - README_MostMethodsExp2.pdf: including a description of the Experiment 2 files and how they were administered. - Most_YNC_Procedure_AsOfFeb6.pdf: the procedure document for how the task was administered - Most_YNC_fulltask.py: The program in PsychoPy coder that is used to run the study, display stimuli, and record responses. - Stimuli_Cont_Comp.xlsx: List of stimuli (used for program control) for the Continuous Block of the Comparison task - Stimuli_Disc_Comp.xlsx: List of stimuli (used for program control) for the Discrete Block of the Comparison task - Stimuli_Cont_YN.xlsx: List of stimuli (used for program control) for the Continuous Block of the Verification task - Stimuli_Disc_YN.xlsx: List of stimuli (used for program control) for the Discrete Block of the Verification task - stimuli folder: This folder contains 123 png files, for all the stimuli that will be called by the excel files - otherstimuli folder: This folder contains 4 png files, which are the additional image files for the program, including the orange and green monsters and the start/end screens
