Using the present data
The file Norway site, session_logbook - OSF.csv contains details about every session, including the names of the researchers who were most directly involved in the collection of the data.
EEG data
The EEG data contained in the present component is raw. The preprocessed data is instead available in the Norway analysis component.
Naming files from Gorilla
See video demonstration here and instructions below.
-
Extract contents of the zipped folder.
-
Name files based on the code at the bottom right of each item in the Experiment pipeline. The names for the tasks are 'digit span', 'Stroop' and 'serial reaction time'. At the end of these names, specify the order in which the task appeared.
-
Move the renamed files to the appropriate folder inside the 'raw data' folder in the LESS-Project directory, replacing the older files. In contrast, keep the individual participants' files that were already there.*
-
Upload files to Session 1 and Session 5 folders in Norway data repository in OSF.
* Individual participants' files contain data that was not left out the general data files due to timeouts in those sessions. In such cases, it is necessary identify such missing participants in the general data sets, and then look for them individually in the Participants tab, downloading the data, and naming the files based on task codes (see matching procedure above) using the following format: '[PTP ID] digit span.csv', '[PTP ID] Stroop.csv' and '[PTP ID] serial reaction time.csv'. Replace [PTP ID] with each participant's home ID.
Lab notes
Any notes below are also in the main project, which contains many more notes.
-
30 June 2024: fixed behavioural files and vmrk files of Participants 3 and 4 in Session 4. Specifically, the EEG marker corresponding to the property of verb-object agreement was corrected from
S 2
toS 3
. -
5 August 2024: fixed behavioural file of Participant 5 in Session 6 by replacing the text 'Session 4' with 'Session 6'. The wrong text appeared because Session 4 was used as a template to create Session 6. Furthermore, the incorrect label has been fixed in the stimulus files.
-
13 January 2025: tried to combine truncated, raw EEG files of Session 2 from Participant 12 by 'appending' them in BrainVision Analyzer and exporting the combined files. However, the exported EEG file did not serve as a raw file, having the structure of a standard exported file. Therefore, the original truncated files were restored.
