Lab equipment and set up ------------------------ Each participant will be tested in one of two small, quiet, soundproofed, well-lit testing rooms that are roughly 8 feet x 8 feet. After providing informed consent, participants will be seated in front of a Dell OptiPlex 7010 desktop computer with a keyboard, mouse, and 22" monitor attached. The monitor has an integrated speaker at the bottom, and Sennheiser headphones will be used for the presentation of auditory information. Stimuli will be presented using E-Prime 2, and the lineup selection and confidence data will be collected in the same way. The crossword and writing tasks will be administered on pen and paper.
