**Open Science Symposium** (UGent, 21 March 2019) To celebrate [the honorary doctorate to Brian Nosek][1], we organise a symposium entitled 'Making Open Science a Reality'. The topic of the symposium is ‘Making Open Science a Reality’, with two interlinked key themes (based on the COS’s mission): - concrete solutions to make research open and transparent (e.g. good practices, platforms and tools for data sharing, preprint servers, Fair OA journals, etc.) - how to incentivise & reward open science (e.g. criteria for appointments and promotions, rewarding good research practices, etc).
