Wiki Version:
**Aim** The aim of this review was to provide an overview of the assessments of oral narrative skills of children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities. **Search strategy** A systematic review of the literature published between Januart 2010 and December 2023 in PsycINFO, ERIC, Education database and Psychology database was conducted. Only articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals were included. No search expanders or equivalent terms were used. The search syntaxes were constructed considering the main terms used in the literature to refer to narrative skills, assessment, and the target population. The search terms and syntax used are detailed in the provided documents. **Inclusion criteria** The inclusion criteria were addressed in a scaled manner in the selection of studies through the application of three consecutive filters. The **first filter (abstract level)** verified the following criteria: empirical studies; narrative skills assessed in children or adolescents; were not case studies; published between January 2010 and December 2023; and manuscript written in English or Spanish. In a **second filter (full text)**, the selection was limited to those studies in which (i) statistics or numerical data on the measurements are included; and (ii) oral narratives are evaluated. In a **third filter**, regarding the target population, all the studies that considered participants who were children or adolescents with intellectual disabilities were include, even if they also incorporated adults, typically developing participants, or participants with other diagnosis. **Provided data** An initial pool of 1176 studies was reviewed by abstract, of which 485 were read in full text, leading to the selection and analysis of 22 studies. Records retrieved from the search in all databases and syntaxes used are shared in this repository. The initial pool of studies reviewed by abstract (duplicate records removed) as well as the details of the studies selected or removed according the different filters (abstract, full text, and third filter) are also shared. All these data are shared in RIS format, compatible with different bibliographic managers. **Utility for other research** This record may be useful to other researchers interested in narrative skills in children. The restriction of results to oral narratives was applied subsequently (filter 2) and was not delimited from the initial search terms. The restriction to participants with intellectual disabilities was applied by the search terms only in syntax 6 and in the third filter.
