Wiki Version:
[Full Program][1] Open technical infrastructure supports research reproducibility, open access mandates, and data management and sharing requirements. As public goods, these tools build community trust through the openness of their code and infrastructure. For libraries and data centers, they provide practical and beneficial opportunities for supporting the work of researchers at various points throughout the research lifecycle. This panel will highlight the role of open, public goods in the efficient and scalable development of infrastructure to support research management, reuse, and discovery. Specifically, panelists will highlight the **Open Science Framework** ([https://osf.io][2]), **ReproZip** ([https://reprozip.org][3]), and the **SHARE** data set ([www.share-research.org][4]), recent advancements and work, and present on how libraries and librarians can engage and embed themselves in the research workflow. A discussion and brainstorming session will follow the presentations.
