Wiki Version:
This project features a dataset on some predictors of performance in a standardized stastistics test. More precisely, students were administered 40 items on inference statistics, where each item was to be marked as either "true" or "false". In addition, respondents were asked - self-evaluation (estimated percentage of correct answer; answer options 1 to 10, 10 equalling 90 to 100 percent) - study time (1 (nearly nothing) to 5 (a lot)) - interest in the subject (1 (no interest) to 5 (very interested)) Additionally, a time stamp is available. Correct answers are shown in the R-Code here: <https://sebastiansauer.github.io/data_test_inference/> The sample consisted of German undergraduates, majoring psychology. Data were collected from 2015 to 2017. Updates are possible. Data is stored as standard CSV.
