Wiki Version:
Research data of submitted paper on probability discounting and adherence to preventive behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Files included: - Raw dataset (discounting_covid_data.csv) - R commands used in the analyses (r_commands.R) - Supplementary tables provided by Gray et al. (2016) - doi: 10.1002/jeab.221 (lookup1PDQ.txt, lookup2PDQ.txt, and lookup2PDQ) - Plots of the results (Fig1A.png, Fig1B.png, FigS1.png) The raw dataset corresponds to 43 questions responded by 112 participants in an online survey conducted in Brazil between August 13 and 25, 2020. The first 30 questions refer to the participants' responses in an adapted version of the Probability Discounting Questionnaire (PDQ; Madden et al., 2009) - doi: 10.1037/a001680 The following three questions refer to demographic information (gender, age, and level of education). The remaining ten questions refer to a 10-item assessment of the level of adherence to preventive behaviors against COVID-19.
