This project investigates n = 20 hard-of-hearing and n = 19 normal-hearing age-matched participants. The main task was a verbal working memory exercise with a 2 (memory load: high vs low) by 2 (sound level: loud vs. soft) design with an additional rest condition while fMRI was recorded.
