**[iPRES2021][1]** will be held on Oct 19-22, 2021, both onsite in Beijing, China, and at the same time virtually online. As a part of the iPRES conference which is the premier conference series on digital preservation annually around the globe, iPRES2021 will focus on Empowering Digital Preservation for the Enriched Digital Ecosystem, with sub-themes covering Exploring the New Horizons, Scanning the New Development, Enhancing the Collaboration, Building the Capacity, and COVID-19 and Digital Preservation. We are fortunate to have experts and practitioners from all the world to present their recent research and development in keynote speeches, paper presentations, panel discussions, workshops and tutorials, lightning talks, and posters.
