Wiki Version:
To join this project, [please provide your contact information here][1] or join our [Google Group][2]. (November 2016 links: [Shared note-taking for DLF & NDSA presentations][3]) **Building on the [AIMS Project workflows][4], we have set up 4 working areas here for:** - [Accessioning][5] - [Arrangement and Description][6] - [Collection Development][7] - [Discovery and Access][8] We are using these as a framework for collecting information about what works and what doesn't -- in both tools and workflows, for intake of digtal content. We have also compiled a [spreadsheet][9] to compare the AIMS workflow tasks with our survey results and three institutions with online workflow documentation. By collaborating as a community to share what we've learned, we make it easier for one another to effectively manage the intake of digital content. [**Please join us!**][10] [Results of the 2016 survey of incoming digital content intake are now available in D-Lib Magazine][11] in the November/December issue, 2016. The [anonymized raw results data from the survey][12] are available for viewing and download. (Note: several responses were deleted from our final results list used for analysis because they did not contain any or very little content, while some others were not used due to lack of useful or comprehensible information.) Please see our [Resources list][13] and add anything that you think might be useful. Presentations on the results of this survey, and invitations to participate in this effort, were shared at the Society of American Archivists annual meeting, the Digital Library Federation Forum, and the National Digital Stewardship Alliance annual meeting in 2016. **Presentation Slides:** All by Alissa Matheny Helms and Jody DeRidder. - SAA: ["Practical options for incoming digital content"][14] - DLF: ["Practical options for incoming digital content"][15] - NDSA: ["What Works and What Doesn't?
