This project aims to study the effect of simulation on reading behavior by means of Eyetracking. We hypothesize that simulation will lead to longer fixation times for parts of the text high in simulation-eliciting content. Additionally, we hypothesize that we will find personal preferences in the reaction to different types of simulation-eliciting content. We expect that the findings from the eyetracking data will be related to self-report of simulation. Finally, we expect that the amount of simulation will be predictive of self-report of appreciation.
