# About methods and materials There are several files related to the methods and materials of the experiment: - **Demographics and comprehension questions.docx** contains the demographic questions as well as the comprehension check questions that the participants answered. - **ART.docx** contains the Dutch version of the Author Recognition Test (Koopman, 2015). - **IRI.xlsx** contains the original English as well as Dutch translations of the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (Davis, 1983) partially based on De Corte et al. (2007) and Mak and Willems (2018). - **MET - example cognitive trial.jpg** contains a Dutch example of a cognitive trial of the Multifaceted Empathy Test (Dziobek et al., 2008). - **MET - example emotional trial.jpg** contains a Dutch example of an emotional trial of the Multifacted Empathy Test (Dziobek et al., 2008) - **VPT - example trial.png** contains an example of a congruent, matching self-trial of the Visual Perspective-taking Task (Samson et al., 2010). - **STOMP - Codebook NL** contains the Dutch Codebook for the Spontaneous Theory of Mind Protocol (Rice & Redcay, 2014).
