This repository contains 148 novel sounds that can be used in distraction experiments. All sounds in the collection are novel sounds that are licensed under Creative Commons (and can be (re)used freely, etc.). Each unique sound has its own ID and the information about it is provided in the Excel sheet. Each sound has been saved in 150ms, 200ms, and 250ms durations. Note that the different durations are created individually are not simply a compressed version of the longer track. This is to preserve the identity of the sound as much as possible and to avoid compression effects. Each file is sampled at 44.1kHz, 16-bit, stereo. The loudness of all files has been equalized to an RMS value of -15 dB(A). If you found these files useful, please consider posting a link to this repository.
