Wiki Version:
Within the Birds and Tetrapods folder you will find a single file containing all UCE sequences for both datasets. Within the Squamates folder you will find several files: The `Squamata_UCEs_NCBI_Genome_Published.fasta` file contains all squamate UCE sequences. These sequences came from three different sources, which are represented by the three subfolders. Those subfolders contain files with the sequences from each main source: + `Genome_UCE_Seqs.fasta` - Sequences extracted from 21 published genomes using PHYLUCE. + `Squamata_UCEs_NCBI.fasta` - Sequences available on GenBank from Leaché and Linkem (2015), Leaché et al. (2016), and Linkem et al. (2016). These studies targeted 541 UCEs, rather than the 5k set. + `JW_Seq_Database_Updated.fasta` - Sequences available through a combination of supplemental materials from Streicher et al. (2016) and Streicher and Wiens (2016, 2017). These studies targeted the tetrapod 5k UCE set.
