Wiki Version:
# General Info **This repository comprises all relevant information related to the study "Collaborative cheating in hierarchical teams: Effects of incentive structure and leader behavior on subordinate behavior and leader perceptions".** It includes all data, analysis code, as well as the complete experiment code necessary to recreate the original experimental study (enabling an exact replication of both experiments reported in the paper). The document "SUPP_Collaborative_Cheating_PSPB" is the supplementary information for review, providing the most important additional information for the paper (referenced as supplementary materials in the manuscript). In addition, this repository hosts additional materials in the following folders: 1. Preprint 2. Study 1 3. Study 2 Each Study folder has the following substructure: 1. **Data and Analysis** 2. **oTree** 4. **preregistration** We describe the folder contents for both studies in turn.
# Study 1 **Data and Analysis** This folder has three subfolders: 1. Analysis Scripts 2. Data 3. Supplementary Materials The "Analysis Scripts" folder contains the *R scripts* used for analysis. It contains two scripts: The script "Collab_Cheating_Analysis_Main.Rmd" provides a subset of the analysis code that will reproduce _all_ results provided in the main article. The script "Collab_Cheating_Analysis_Supplement.Rmd" contains the complete analysis done for this project. It is the main supplementary file, provides all preregistered analyses, robustness checks, as well as further exploratory analyses and data visualisations. *** The "Data" folder contains the raw data used for our analysis (except mTurk worker IDs which were redacted for anonymity). Additionally, we provide a codebook for the cleaned dataset. *** The supplementary Materials folder contains knitted versions of the R-scripts presented in the folder "Analysis Scripts".
**oTree** The oTree folder provides all code and instructions necessary to recreate the original experimental design. With this code, it is possible to run an exact replication of the study.
**Preregistration** This folder contains an author-unidentified version of the preregistration for this study. *Note:* Unfortunately, the original preregistration that is tied to this repository (see https://osf.io/afmrw) is author identified.
# Study 2 **Data and Analysis** This folder has three subfolders: 1. Analysis Scripts 2. Data 3. Supplementary Materials The "Analysis Scripts" folder contains the *R script* used for analysis. It contains both the main *and* supplementary analysis code. *** The "Data" folder contains the raw data used for our analysis (except mTurk worker IDs which were redacted for anonymity), as well as an already cleaned dataset. Additionally, we provide a codebook for the cleaned dataset. *** The supplementary Materials folder contains knitted version of the R-script presented in the folder "Analysis Scripts".
**oTree** The oTree folder provides all code and instructions necessary to recreate the original experimental design. With this code, it is possible to run an exact replication of study 2.
**Preregistration** This folder contains an author-unidentified version of the preregistration for this study. *Note:* Unfortunately, the original preregistration is author identified.
