Category: Project

Description: This project aims to develop a conceptual framework of the different actors who may be required to exert agency and how much, in order for population interventions for diet and physical activity to achieve their intended effects. The project also aims to systematically review studies of the effectiveness, equity and acceptability of population interventions for diet and physical activity, apply our new framework and determine whether the effectiveness, equity and acceptability vary according to the degree of agency required of different actors. The project consists of five work packages; (1) Systematic scoping review; (2) Framework development; (3) Expert assessment of content validity; (4) Expert assessment of external reliability; and (5) Systematic assessment of intervention effectiveness, equity and acceptability according to the agency required of relevant actors.
