Wiki Version:
## The ROCK The Reproducible Open Coding Kit (ROCK) is a standard and convention that enables transparent qualitative research. This standard is implemented in two Free/Libre Open Source Software applications: an R package (rock) and a graphical interface (iROCK). The ROCK helps researchers organize data sources, designate attributes to the providers of those data, code (and segment) narratives, as well as perform various analyses. In accordance with the ROCK standard, the R package allows making these steps explicit and transparent, thus improving transparency, inclusivity, and accessibility of research while minimizing research waste. Furthermore, the ROCK facilitates sharing coded qualitative data, enabling other researchers to reproduce the coding process, compare results, and collaborate by sharing or expanding the coding system. ## The Workshop The workshop aims to familiarize participants with the ROCK standard, guide them in trying out iROCK, and provide a general overview of the R package 'rock'. ### Prezi https://prezi.com/x1durq3mvqfr/rock-workshop/?present=1
