The database contains columns with the following information: 1. USDA Agency: Four agencies are reflected in our database - Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Food & Nutrition Service (FNS), National Institute of Food & Agriculture (NIFA), Rural Development 2. Program Area: The nature of the grant program's focus 3. Program: Name of the grant program 4. CFDA Number: Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) number or Assistance Listing number assigned to most grants funded by the Federal government 5. Award Year: Fiscal year the grant was awarded 6. State: US state the project recipient is based in 7. Grant Amount: Monetary amount granted in US Dollars. Includes federal obligations and matching funds in some instances. 8. Recipient Name: Grant recipient name 9. Project Title: Official title of the project that received a grant 10. Project Description: Publicly available description of the project (if available). 11. Seafood Presence: If positive match to our search term, then TRUE. If no matching search terms, FALSE, and if there is insufficient information (e.g. no project title and description), then classified as NA. 12. Wild/Aqua: Whether the project related to aquaculture, or wild capture fisheries, or if its unclear or both (seafood).
